High School: A 2000 graduate of Mira Loma High School in Sacramento...played four years of basketball including three seasons with the varsity team...was a three-time all-Capital Valley Conference selection and was named conference MVP as a junior after averaging 16 points and nine rebounds a game...as a senior, she averaged 17.8 points and 10 rebounds per game and was named to the Optimist team...was an all-tournament selection eight times during her three-year varsity career while also being named tournament MVP on five
occasions. ..scored a career-high 31 points vs. Davis High School in 2000...was named Female Athlete of the Year for Mira Loma HS in 2000. ..recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award in math and physical education as a freshman...also recipient of the Black Student Union Scholarship Award in 2000.
