Junior College: Played two years of basketball at Sacramento City College as a point guard (1999-01)...was named all-Bay Valley Conference as a freshman...averaged 12 points, six assists and four steals as a sophomore...named MVP of the Sacramento City College Christmas Classic in 1999...an all-tournament selection at the Solano Showdown in 2000...was named the school’s athlete of the month twice during her career and received the Outstanding Women Athlete Award in 2000.

High School: A 1999 graduate of Valley High School in Sacramento...played four years of basketball and three years of soccer...in basketball, was named the team’s most inspirational player as a junior and team MVP as a senior...scored a career-high 24 points against Davis High School as a sophomore...in soccer, she was named the team MVP in 1997 after averaging two goals per game...was a member of the school’s honor roll all four years...also named Valley’s Outstanding Senior and Athlete of the Year in 1999.

Personal: Born June 24, 1981...daughter of Al Olivarez...a family and consumer science major with an emphasis on apparel design...also minoring in creative writing.
