Diane Anderson (1978-80) - Diane graduated in 1981. She was a member of the 1981 Division II National Championship Softball team. After graduation, she went to Bella Vista High School to coach JV Girls' Basketball and JV Softball for two years. Diane then went on to American River Junior College as Head Softball Coach for two years. Then the working world called her into landscape. She's still playing in the dirt 23 years later owning her own business and controlling her own hours. She also enjoyed coaching freshman and junior varsity girls' basketball at Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills from 1996-2003. Living in Serrano with a birds eye view of the golf course, she can be seen daily hitting the little white ball up the grass. The big basketball event these days is the Sacramento Monarchs. Come see her and her family at all home games in section 116, row G, in seats 1-4. A big booster of the women's softball program at Sac State, she can also be seen behind home plate at most home games.

Sue Digitale (1973-78) - "Sue lives in Sacramento. She worked at UPS for 13 years, ending up in a management position, but is now working at her father's battery store, being
groomed to take it over. Sue was personally recruited into the WBL by Karen
Logan, one of the founders of the league, and was one of only a few players who
not only played all 3 seasons, but did so for the same team. Near the end of
the third season, she was named head coach of the Chicago Hustle when the coach
was fired, but then he showed up with a court order requiring the team to let
him coach, so she went back to the locker room and changed back into her
uniform. He eventually got re-fired, and Sue coached the last four games.
Incidentally, Sue has the distinction of being the first woman ever to foul out
of a professional basketball game - the inaugural game, in fact." (info courtesy Karra Porter of WBLMemories.Com). Inducted into the Sacramento State Athletic Hall of Fame 5/15/02.
