Few rounds before the end of the second division Maccabi Ashdod promised the first place and climbed to the first league after beating Hapoel Haifa 75 - 69. Ashdod is still without a loss this season the leading players in Ashdod are veterans Vika Rudovski, Oxana Dovgeliuk, Lend Pudkoritova, the youngsters: Nati Lanchner, Tali Ben-Ishay and the foreigner: Katja Volsova
