Shlomi's Israel Report Number 31

Bney Yehuda 76 - Elizur Ramla 62
Bney Yehuda won the series 2 - 1 and will play vs. Maccabi Raanana in the semi-finals.

Brandy Reed injured her leg and didn't open. Bney Yehuda started good and led 25 - 14 in the first quarter. Without Reed, Semeka Randall and Stacey Lovelace were the only weapons of Ramla. Randall was awsome and kept Ramla in the game. 41 - 32 to Bney Yehuda at half time. Reed played the 2 last minutes of the half.

2 minutes to the end of the 3rd quarter Stacey Ford was fouled out and a minute later Travesa Gant had her 4th foul. The quarter ended 58 - 49. Ramla had the momentum for a while and the gap narrowed to 5 pts but Bney Yehuda with their tough defense didn't allow Ramla to get close. Sarit Menashe, probably the shorter center in the world, I think she is shorter the 1.80 meters, was amazing. She took few important rebounds, had 3 steals, she forced few jumpball, she jumped on every ball around her and had also crucial 7 pts. Reed started scoring, Randall was unstoppable but Bney Yehuda was the better team and with few fastbreaks destroyed Ramla's momentum and increased the gap to 14 at the end.

Bney Yehuda:
Gant 22 pts, 12 reb, 3 ass, 5 to, 2 st, (3 - 5 3 pts, 9- 15 fg)
